IMMERSION ON & LIVING CANVAS DUBLIN

In this hypnotic audio and visual piece the artist makes reference to real and virtual spaces, and how we are advancing with new platforms, technologies, and tools for artists and creative thinkers over one hundred years after Edweard Muybridge’s early studies with motion and photography. Shane’s Spacer Street Art was originally developed from a collection of astronaut oil paintings entitled ‘That Space in between’, which the artist describes as exploring that moment after you leave, but before you get there. It explores the implications of making a choice and not knowing the outcome.
